You are most welcome to the Website of Caritas Kiyinda Mityana, the social services arm of Kiyinda Mityana Diocese. Ours is a faith-based organization offering social services and working for integral development of all God's people in the civil Districts that cover Kiyinda Mityana Diocese.
It seeks to help those in need especially the marginalized and those on the peripheral of society; the orphans, people with disabilities, single mothers, child headed families, the elderly and widows. We strive to promote development through modern sustainable agriculture and wise saving and investment.
Trusting in God and basing on the goodness of people and their noble inclination to help others, Caritas Kiyinda Mityana desires to follow the example of Jesus Christ in liberating the human being integrally. We act with the sole purpose of promoting the well being of every person created in the image and likeness of God.

Over 4 years of experience as Human Resource Manager. Also manages the K-MD Credit Program. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Microfinance and Community Economic Development from Uganda Martyrs University – Nkozi.

Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
Six years of experience in project monitoring, evaluation and data management. Holds a Bachelor's degree of Science in Business Statistics from Makerere University.
Nayiga Maria Frances Mugagga
Accountant
Joined the organization in 2011 with professional accounting experience of 6 years. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from Makerere University.
Yiga Henry
Chief Accountant
Joined Caritas K-MD on 3rd July 2006. Holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting and a Bachelor's degree of Commerce (Accounting) from Makerere University. Previously worked with Actionaid International Uganda.
Dr. Kizza Mathias
Diocesan Agriculture Coordinator
Joined in 2006. Coordinates CAPCA activities in Kassanda District. Over 28 years of experience in agricultural programs. Holds a BSc Agriculture from Uganda Martyrs University – Nkozi.
Kakanga George
Program Manager – K-MD Integrated Livelihood Program
Joined Caritas in 2010 as an agriculture extension worker. Holds a BSc Agriculture and a Diploma in Animal Husbandry from Uganda Martyrs University – Nkozi.
Kyeyune Emmanuel
Manager – K-MD Integrated Cow Program
Joined in January 2019. Has 12 years' experience in dairy development and project management. Holds a Diploma in General Agriculture from Uganda Martyrs University – Nkozi.
Bagonza Edward Bright
Field Officer – Integrated Cow Program
Joined in August 2019. Holds a Diploma in Animal Production and Management from Kyera Agricultural Training College, Mbarara.
Kyeswa Henry
Field Officer – Integrated Cow Program
Joined in July 2022. Renowned for special skills in animal health management, heat detection and artificial insemination.
Proscovia Nanfuka Kimbugwe
Manager – Horizont3000 & OVC Care Project
Joined Caritas in 2013 as a volunteer. Holds a BSc in Business Economics from Uganda Martyrs University – Nkozi and a Diploma in Business Education from National Teachers' College – Nkozi.
Ssewankambo Pius
Field Officer – Social Protection
Joined Caritas Kiyinda-Mityana in 2013 as an Agricultural Field Extension officer with 3 years of farm management experience. Holds a National Diploma in Animal Production and Management from Bukalasa Agricultural College.

Field Officer – Social Protection
Joined in June 2021. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Social Administration from Kampala University. Previously worked with Kassanda Grower's Cooperative Society Ltd.
Temamuli Francis
Field Officer – Social Protection
Joined in May 2022. Previously volunteered with Uganda Red Cross Society – Mityana Branch and GIZ-Mityana as a Field Assistant. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies from Ndejje University.
Ssebiragala Henry
Credit Officer
Joined in August 2014 with 3 years' experience in community development. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Community Based Development from Nkumba University.
Kikambi Benard
Credit Officer
Joined in 2015. Holds a BSc in Accounting from Kyambogo University, a Diploma in Accountancy from Buganda Royal Institute, and a CPA with ICPAU.
Amone Desmond
Credit Officer
Joined on 14th March 2018. Technical expert in computerized accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks) and credit/loans performer software. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting) from Makerere University.
Kazibwe Charles
Credit Officer – PROMIC Program
Joined in March 2018. Holds a Bachelor of Management Science from Kyambogo University and a Diploma in Cooperative & Business Administration from Uganda Cooperative College, Kigumba.
Aheebwa Cleophas
Accounts Assistant – Credit Department
Started as a volunteer and was promoted to full staff. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management (Accounting & Finance) from Uganda Martyrs University – Nkozi.
Ddembe Lailar
Marketing Officer – Credit Department
Joined in May 2022. Has 6 years' experience in sales and marketing. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from Nkumba University.
Seruyange Julius
Manager – WASH Program & K-MD PROMIC Coordinator
Joined on 10th May 2017 as a field officer and was promoted to program management. Holds a Bachelor's degree of Commerce (Accounting) from Makerere University and is pursuing a CPA from ICPAU.
Ntabaazi Nsumba Francis Xavier
Transport Officer & HIV/AIDS Focal Person
One of the longest-serving staff, joined Caritas in 1982. Has served in various portfolios over the decades. Holds a Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Makerere University and a Diploma in Public Health from Kanamayi Public Health Institute, Mombasa, Kenya.
Nansubuga Molly Rita
Welfare Officer
One of the most respected members of the community. Ensures the cafeteria is fully functional for all staff and oversees the general cleanliness of the premises and welfare of staff. A staunch member of St. Cecilia Choir, Mityana Cathedral Parish.
